Waterpfoofing for Water Park
2016 Xinjiang water park project adopts hand-brushed two-component polyaspartic polyurea, 2.0mm thick coating with gradient marine color, 20-year waterproof lifespan for curved water slide surfaces.
Project Basic Information
Location: Xinjiang, China
Completion Time: 2016
Applied Material: Two-component Polyaspartic Polyurea Material
Project Construction Overview
This water park renovation project adopts professional hand-brushing construction technology for targeted waterproof and decorative upgrading, focusing on the complex curved structures and splicing joint details of water slides and amusement pools. Different from conventional flat-surface spraying construction, the hand-brushing process delivers precise covering for irregular curved surfaces and tiny joints, solving the easy leakage problem of detailed parts of water park facilities.
The project applies two-component polyaspartic polyurea material by layered brushing, forming an overall continuous and complete protective coating with a finished thickness of 2.0mm. The constructed coating integrates multiple superior properties including high water pressure resistance, long-term chloride corrosion resistance and strong UV aging resistance, fully adapting to the strong ultraviolet and dry climatic characteristics of Xinjiang regions.
Customized Decorative & Functional Performance
Beyond basic waterproof protection, this project adopts exclusive gradient coloring technology to realize a natural seamless color transition from coral blue to Tiffany green, creating a high-end marine-themed venue aesthetic. The cured coating reaches a surface hardness of Shore D 75, equipped with excellent wear resistance and stable anti-slip performance.
This integrated polyaspartic polyurea solution realizes perfect combination of safety, durability and ornamental effect. It supports a stable 20-year waterproof service life, effectively meeting the long-term operational safety standards and high-frequency use requirements of family-oriented public water amusement environments.
Project Core Advantages
Manual layered brushing construction adapts perfectly to complex curved surfaces and joint details of water park facilities, avoiding coating missing and local thin layers. The two-component polyaspartic polyurea material forms a dense integral protective layer, which can resist pool chlorine erosion and strong outdoor ultraviolet radiation for a long time. With balanced hardness, wear resistance and anti-slip performance, it not only ensures safe play for tourists, but also realizes personalized marine gradient color decoration, greatly improving the overall grade and market competitiveness of the water park.
