Polyaspartic coating spraying on power plant sink
2017 Shanxi power sink renovation adopts polyaspartic coating, anti-freeze-thaw & industrial medium corrosion, fully solves industrial pool leakage risks.
Basic Info
Location: Shanxi, ChinaCompletion Year: 2017Core Material: High-performance Polyaspartic Coating system
Project Background
Shanxi inland power plants face harsh operating conditions including large temperature swings, repeated freeze-thaw cycles and industrial wastewater with mineral ions. Traditional waterproof layers on power station sinks easily crack, peel and leak, causing concrete corrosion, hidden safety risks and frequent maintenance shutdowns. The client required a durable anti-corrosion waterproof lining to fully isolate sewage erosion.
Polyaspartic Coating System Advantages
We adopted full polyaspartic coating as the protective lining for the power sink:
1 :Seamless integral film eliminates all leakage gaps of conventional waterproof materials;
2: Outstanding resistance to industrial wastewater, salt ions and medium corrosion;
3: Excellent low-temperature flexibility, stable under long-term freeze-thaw cycles in northern inland areas;
4: High crack-bridging elasticity, adapts tiny concrete substrate deformation without splitting;
5: Fast curing, short construction period, long service life to cut power plant operation & maintenance costs.
Project Effect
After construction in 2017, the polyaspartic coating maintains stable waterproof and anti-corrosion performance under long-term power plant running conditions, completely solves sink leakage troubles and guarantees continuous safe power production.This polyaspartic coating system is widely applicable for thermal power sinks, industrial wastewater tanks and all corrosive concrete pool structures.
