Hand-applied polyurea coatings provide many of the high-performance protective benefits of spray-applied polyurea while offering greater application flexibility. Formulated for manual application, they can be mixed on-site and applied by roller, brush, trowel or squeegee, eliminating the need for specialized high-pressure plural-component spray equipment.
This simplified application makes hand-applied polyurea particularly well suited for detail work, targeted repairs, complex geometries, confined areas and smaller projects where conventional spray equipment may be impractical. Depending on the formulation, these coatings offer rapid curing, excellent adhesion and outstanding resistance to abrasion, impact, chemicals and water.
After curing, hand-applied polyurea forms a seamless, flexible and durable protective membrane that accommodates substrate movement and provides long-lasting waterproofing and corrosion protection. It is widely used for repairs, joints and penetrations, pipe and tank details, concrete protection, waterproofing, and other demanding industrial and infrastructure applications.
