The South-to-North Water Transfer Project belongs to a large-scale national water conservancy infrastructure, with massive PCCP pipelines laid underground for a long time. Buried pipelines are constantly eroded by soil moisture, groundwater, microbial corrosion and soil chemical substances. Traditional ordinary coatings are prone to blistering, peeling and corrosion failure under long-term buried conditions. Pipeline corrosion damage will affect the stability of water transmission, cause pipeline leakage, and bring huge hidden dangers to the long-term operation of key water conservancy projects.
